TENDENCIES: IMPATIENCE
Dear Believer, I'm so glad you're on this journey with me.
We have been talking about various tendencies and I am confident you have been blessed.
We're on the fourth tendency which is impatience.
I want you to read with an open mind so that the Holy Spirit can expressly speak to you.
I also pray that your abundance don't hang as a result of impatience.
Cheers to your testimony!
Tunde was so happy seeing his uncle, TY at a family occasion.
He hadn't seen him in 6 years since he went for his Msc. abroad.
Uncle TY was now fresher & healthier and as far as Tunde was concerned, he's got money too.
Soon, they got talking and food was being served. They had spent over 60 minutes talking already and Tunde was now hungry.
"Uncle TY, they are already serving oh. Let's go and eat", he said holding his stomach and yawning at the same time.
"Don't worry, we'll eat. I'll personally collect food packages for the two of us."
They talked for more minutes and TY stood up to get food. He had a friend amongst the servers.
An hour passed, TY wasn't back and Tunde felt like screaming. He couldn't wait any longer and was ready to eat anything.
Angry, he went to complain about food not served at his table.
The server at the stand gave him the scrapings from the cooking pot, in a plastic bowl.
He was too hungry to complain at the horrible sight of the food; there was even no meat to encourage him to eat.
He ate his food hurriedly while Uncle TY was back at the table for a little over 30 minutes with the food packages as promised.

Many of us are like Tunde.
We are so impatient or rather, we wait but not patiently.
Tunde was asked to sit down and not worry, but he believed TY couldn't see food again.
He had been waiting for the past hour and no sign of TY.
Think of something God has promised you and He hasn't done.
Perhaps God has promised you to do it soon, and He already told you to wait for it.
Are you sure you're obeying all of God's instructions?
Are you sitting where he asked you to or like Tunde, you have left impatiently already to settle yourself?
Impatience is one tendency that can hinder the abundance of rain in your life.
It is like an umbrella that blocks rain from seeping through the hairs of your head preventing that cool and renewed feeling.
It can cause you to miss your blessing(s) because you're not where God has asked you to be.
You can also miss out on God's best when you have gone ahead to settle for less.
It can also put you in the state of doubting God and His faithfulness; making you unworthy to receive anything from God.
Maybe your ways please God, you're just impatient for His rain.
To get more of God's blessings, you must be determined to get impatience out of your life.
I elaborated more on waiting patiently in one of LWY's episode, EXPECTATIONS. You may want to read it. Click here.
I pray that you will not miss God's abundance in your life due to impatience in Jesus name.
