Tendencies: Keeping Malice

Dear Believer, I am particularly excited about today's tendency. I trust you can relate with it and make resolutions where necessary.

I used to keep Malice with a renowned bank in Nigeria. 


God has helped me passed that phase.


They duped me of some funds and I felt cheated and very angry.


I vowed to drag them on Twitter... I never did sha.


But, I did not hesitate to show people how angry I was each time someone mentioned their name and tell them how they messed with me.


Can you think of a bible character who had this tendency too?


I know of Absalom. 


He is a very good example of malice.


With his long hair and beautiful features, he had a PhD in Malice.


He was really offended at Amnon for taking advantage of Tamar, but he didn't say anything.


He planned his revenge on Amnon for 2 years. 2 Sam. 13.


To me, this is malice reloaded and wickedness.


Malice is not just greeting one person or another that offends you or withholding communication.


It's beyond all these things. 


Malice has roots and fruits. It doesn't just end there.


It makes you bitter and leads to many other things.


I have heard people say "malice is nothing to them". They can keep malice for weeks and feel fine.



Hmmm, the truth is that ...


You cannot bear grunt with someone and expect God's abundance of rain in your life.


Even the Word says we should drop our worship, offerings, gifts at the altar and settle our scores with our neighbors, friends, before continuing so that it can be acceptable.


Malice is one tendency that can hinder God's abundance in our lives. 


The rain of God's protection or sustenance wears off on one's heads and exposes you to danger.


This is a dangerous tendency you must prayerfully deal with, this month.


I pray the abundance of rain will bring you to testify of God's goodness.


It's time for declarations again. Please, say with me.


Positive declarative prayers to overcome malice tendency


I am at peace with everyone around me

I do not hold anyone captive in my heart

By the help of the Holy spirit, I overcome this tendency called Malice.

My offerings are accepted by God and I have a open door of blessings.

The rain of favour, provision and mercy does not cease in my life.

Amen.

TEMPTATION AND THE WORD

"It is easier said than done". This statement is true, but I believe it is incomplete.  As a believer, there are some things that apply to the whole world that you're exempted from. To do things may be easier said than done, but for you, the believer, there is grace, even much grace available to do them. You and I receive it in Jesus name. Whether you believe it or not, there is grace available for you to stand up to the devil, in boldness, and use the Word instead of crying or getting depressed.  Yes, I know it may seem easier to say "use the Word", when the devil is telling you a lie about that job you're seeking, that grade you are reading so hard for, that person who said he/she will help you, that child that's proving wayward or any situation you may be in, as opposed to using the Word when you really need to use it.  But as believers, it's time we understood that only the Word and truth in the Word can make us free.  Lord Jesus, thank you for your word I'm about to read today.  I receive boldness to share the wine you have given me.  May I not be static river in Jesus name.  Amen. Dear Believer, Last week, I asked a question about why you think the wedding host didn't buy wine when it had finished and they had to seek Jesus. A friend sent me a video about the history of the Galilean wedding and I found the answer in there. Once the wedding feast starts according to the Galilean culture, no one goes out until the ceremony is over. This is to lock out uninvited people and keep record of those who're in.  This explains why the welfare team had to panic when they ran out of wine.
