THE NEW WINE PT 5

From the winemaking process, you know there's a need for you to have a strong foundation in Christ before going to share the new wine (evangelize).

It's necessary to share the new wine (Jesus) because a river of new wine is in you and it must flow John 7:38.

It's quite necessary that you're capable of producing new wine before you share it. You don't want to end up like Flora of Abattoir.

After sharing the new wine, there's a need for you to go back to the Vine.

"Why? Is this needful?" , someone is probably thinking.

Jesus said in John 15, "Without me, you can't do anything."

You can't do anything (bear fruits/produce wine) when you're detached from the vine.

A detachment from the vine will soon turn your river to a stinking one. Everything you do will not be backed up with power and when men taste your wine, they'll drink sour grapes.

As long as the branch(you) is attached to the vine, it keeps maturing to produce wine and more wine.

The river of wine is still in you because it can never expire or dry up, but you need to tap into deep and new dimensions of the vine to give out something sweeter, everytime.

The amount and concentration of the wine you'll share to a random person is different from the one you'll share to a drunkard or a porn addict.

That's one reason we (sharers of the new wine) have to keep laying down our old flames in submission, asking God to fill us up with new wine again and again, just as the singers of the song "New Wine" (Hillsong worship) put it.

As we wrap up today, this is just an encouragement to you and I, privileged sharers of the new wine to keep going back to the vine so that we'll keep giving out fresh and fresh wine.

Stay connected to the vine, brother. Stay connected to the vine, sister. God bless you.

And even from now, put on the attitude of going to God empty so he can fill you up with new wine.

Let us pray:

Father, I thank you for your son or daughter that's reading this right now.

Thank you because of being intentional about them reading this series from the first part.

Thank you for drawing out so many beautiful lessons that we can learn from the Cana wedding.

Lord, we ask that you show us the new wine expressly if we have not known Him.

Help us not to hoard this river of wine we have received, but share it like we received it.

Help us to share the new wine at every opportunity and let our offer be accepted by those who need it.

Build us to that level that we are capable of sharing the good news and help us to always come back to you so that you can always show us deeper dimensions of the vine.

As privileged wine sharers, please, don't let us lose our reward on Earth and in Eternity. For in Jesus name we pray, Amen. 🙏

Suggested activity: Listen to the new wine song and pray with the words.

NOTE:

This has been an exciting and eye-opening series for me, especially. You never know what depth of the Word God wants you to share until you sit with Him.

So privileged to be a steward of His Word to you. I particularly thank God for you. God bless you. ❤️
