THE TRUTH 2

 Lord Jesus, thank you for your Word to me this morning. My heart is open to receive and find the truth in your Word from now.

I pray I am blessed by this piece and go on to bless others with it, too. Amen.

One of my favorite songs is the hymn "Jesus loves me, this I know".


🎶 Jesus loves me, this I know, 

for the Bible tells me so.

Little ones [insert your name] to Him belong; 

they are weak, but He is strong. 


I love this hymn so much and I literally sound like a baby when I sing it, gosh. 😍😂


I am convinced beyond confusion that Jesus loves me because it's in the Word. I can see it in the Word and it stands as the basis of my conviction: "Jesus loves me because the Bible (the truth) says it"


I said last week that the truth is a rewiring, the truth is in the word, and the truth is Jesus. 


After knowing Jesus as truth, you need to go on to know the Word as truth to enjoy total freedom. 


This is because Jesus is the Word. John 1:1


It is possible to have given your life to Christ and not attain some levels of freedom because you don't know the Word which is truth. John 17:17


Just like a newborn will depend on breast milk for feeding, as believers, we must feed on the Word constantly, nonstop, if we want to live free.


Whether we are babes in Christ or not, reading the Word is the next step to knowing the truth and being freed from the constant lies of the enemy. 


If you want to know the truth about yourself, future, career, family etc, you have to search it in the Word.


One reason you should seek to know God's truth always is because you want to live free.


I'll like to share with you some truth I found in the Word which can liberate you if you embrace it too. ❤️


1. God will not frustrate you. Jeremiah 29:11 

2. You're God's son or daughter; His beloved. Romans 8:16 

3. God loves you and you're loved. Jeremiah 31:3 

4. God will never tell you a lie. Numbers 23:19 

5. It is well with you always. Isaiah 3:10

6. God is with you even in bad times. Isaiah 43:2 

7. You will laugh last. Psalms 23:5 

8. You're preserved. Psalms 91:7 

9. Your case is not beyond redemption. Jeremiah 32:27

10. God has heard you. Psalm 6:9


There are many more if only you could daily look through them in the Word and claim your freedom from any situation with it. 


Jesus overcame the devil's temptation because he knew the Word and that set him free. He replied the devil with "it is written".


Dear believer, you are a free man already. Don't give the devil a chance to take you back into slavery by holding you back from using the Word for your continual freedom. 


Only what is written in the Word can remove every obstacle/lie/hurdle Satan and life brings. 


Use the word everyday and live in freedom.

TEMPTATION AND THE WORD

"It is easier said than done". This statement is true, but I believe it is incomplete.  As a believer, there are some things that apply to the whole world that you're exempted from. To do things may be easier said than done, but for you, the believer, there is grace, even much grace available to do them. You and I receive it in Jesus name. Whether you believe it or not, there is grace available for you to stand up to the devil, in boldness, and use the Word instead of crying or getting depressed.  Yes, I know it may seem easier to say "use the Word", when the devil is telling you a lie about that job you're seeking, that grade you are reading so hard for, that person who said he/she will help you, that child that's proving wayward or any situation you may be in, as opposed to using the Word when you really need to use it.  But as believers, it's time we understood that only the Word and truth in the Word can make us free. THE NEW WINE

The story of water turning into wine. Very common story! You probably have never heard it this way before. Enjoy! The Wedding at Cana of Galilee is one of the Bible stories that intrigues me a lot. One reason I love this Bible story is because Jesus was there at the venue to save them from a huge embarrassment. Secondly, a rare miracle happened at the wedding.
