TEMPTATION AND THE WORD
"It is easier said than done". This statement is true, but I believe it is incomplete.
As a believer, there are some things that apply to the whole world that you're exempted from.
To do things may be easier said than done, but for you, the believer, there is grace, even much grace available to do them. You and I receive it in Jesus name.
Whether you believe it or not, there is grace available for you to stand up to the devil, in boldness, and use the Word instead of crying or getting depressed.
Yes, I know it may seem easier to say "use the Word", when the devil is telling you a lie about that job you're seeking, that grade you are reading so hard for, that person who said he/she will help you, that child that's proving wayward or any situation you may be in, as opposed to using the Word when you really need to use it.
But as believers, it's time we understood that only the Word and truth in the Word can make us free. John 8:32. And we must use it, yes, we must.
In the episode titled "The Truth", I talked about how the devil only responds to the written Word and how you must constantly pick up truth from the Word to kill the devil's lies.
I bring you good news this day. 🥳🥳🥳
We'll be studying a beautiful Bible story for the next few weeks.
I can promise you that it is a series you shouldn't miss reading. This story will bless you more than you can imagine.
It's the story of Jesus (the Word) and the temptation he faced.
It surprises me that the devil came to tempt Jesus, a whole Jesus. 😳
What insolence? What audacity?
That guy must have been high on something, really.🧐
Did he expect to succeed in his attempt? What was he even thinking?
Know one thing: the devil will always try. He always sets high hopes even when failure is obvious.
Together and from the scriptures, we are going to learn how Jesus was able to overcome the devil with the written Word and how we can use His method to silence the devil everytime.
If the devil could tempt Jesus, the son of God, not minding His status and the power that He had, you should not expect less temptations as a believer.
But, you can dismiss the devil just like Jesus did because you're born of God. 1 John 4:4
We're going to learn how in subsequent episodes and I don't want YOU to miss any.
Really, it may be easier said than done, but there's grace to overcome temptations.
DECLARE WITH ME:
I am not afraid of the devil and his temptations because I am born of God.
I receive the grace to overcome the devil's temptations.
I am bigger than his threats because I have the Holy Spirit.
I receive the boldness to use the Word to dismiss the devil.
The devil obeys me when I use the Word in Jesus name. Amen.

We'll meet next week. Cheers and God bless you! 👍❤️
