IT'S A NEW DAWN

Dear believer, welcome to the new dawn. It is my prayer that the reality of a new dawn be your portion. 


Wrestle when you need to, ask for mercy when you need to and when the dawn comes, give God the highest praise.


 I'm waiting to hear your testimony(ies). God bless you. 





 "Lord, I will exalt you and lift you high, for you have lifted me up on high! 

Over all my boasting, gloating enemies, you made me to triumph. 

O Lord, my healing God, I cried out for a miracle and you healed me! 

You brought me back from the brink of death, from the depths below. Now here I am, alive and well, fully restored! 

O sing and make melody, you steadfast lovers of God. Give thanks to him every time you reflect on his holiness! 

I’ve learned that his anger lasts for a moment, but his loving favor lasts a lifetime! We may weep through the night, but at daybreak it will turn into shouts of ecstatic Joy."

This highlights the testimony of someone who has seen many dark days and is now experiencing the new dawn. It is your reality in Jesus name.


 David sang melodiously unto the Lord who made him see the new dawn after series of dark phases. He talked about how God wiped away his tears and turned his nighttime into a bright day. 


True, the new dawn is a relief and hope for mournful silence and it comes with Joy.


WHAT COULD THE NEW DAWN MEAN?


To the believer:

The new dawn could mean perfect health. e.g 12 years issue of blood healed (Luke 8:43-48)

A new dawn could mean a new destiny e.g Jabez's coast enlarged (1 Chronicles 4:10)

A new dawn could mean prosperity and influence (Proverbs 22:29)

A new dawn could mean restoration e.g Samaria restored (2 Kings 7:1)

A new dawn could mean reposition e.g Nebuchadnezzar reinstated as king(Daniel 4:34-37)

A new dawn could mean promotion e.g Saul becoming king (1 Samuel 10:1,10&11)


To the unbeliever, a new dawn could mean:

Clarity in purpose e.g Saul of Tarsus (Acts 9:1-20)

Joy of salvation e.g The Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:39)

Newness e.g Naaman (2 Kings 5:14)

New life in Christ e.g Cornelius & his household (Acts 10:44-48)



HOW DO YOU SAFEGUARD/SUSTAIN THE NEW DAWN?

Give God quality Praise like David did. I'm sure we all know what happens when we give God Praise.

Your praise can sustain your dawn. Give Him praise.


SUGGESTED ACTIVITY: Spend at least 15 minutes giving God praise for the new dawn he has promised/you have received.

TEMPTATION AND THE WORD

"It is easier said than done". This statement is true, but I believe it is incomplete.  As a believer, there are some things that apply to the whole world that you're exempted from. To do things may be easier said than done, but for you, the believer, there is grace, even much grace available to do them. You and I receive it in Jesus name. Whether you believe it or not, there is grace available for you to stand up to the devil, in boldness, and use the Word instead of crying or getting depressed.  Yes, I know it may seem easier to say "use the Word", when the devil is telling you a lie about that job you're seeking, that grade you are reading so hard for, that person who said he/she will help you, that child that's proving wayward or any situation you may be in, as opposed to using the Word when you really need to use it.  But as believers, it's time we understood that only the Word and truth in the Word can make us free. The story of water turning into wine. Very common story! You probably have never heard it this way before. Enjoy! The Wedding at Cana of Galilee is one of the Bible stories that intrigues me a lot.
