UNSCARRED (with no scar) - LWY EP 10

Is it possible to go through smoke and not smell smoke? Can you enter fire and not get burnt?

This episode discusses two Bible stories about fire and believers being in fire situations.

Unscarred is not scarred; even after going through a burn. Yoruba Google translate says "ti ko ni aleebu"

It's almost impossible that some situations don't leave a scar in our lives but it is possible it doesn't.

Two stories confirm this.

In Ex. 3:2, the angel of God appeared as flames of fire from a bush that didn't burn.

Moses saw it and moved closer. I'm guessing he wanted to have full view of this strange gist.

Then in Daniel 3:21-27, three Hebrew men were thrown into fire bound but they didn't get burnt too.

I know you must be thinking "what connection does these two stories have?"

The most evident connection is fire.

The bush was on fire but it didn't burn.

The Hebrew men entered fire but didn't get burnt.

How is that even possible since one of fire's strength is burning?

The only sane explanation to this is that God was in the fire.

Well, that may seem obvious to you, but there are some other amazing connections in these two stories.

Another connection is that something caught fire but didn't burn - the bush and Daniel's friends.

They stand as a symbol of NO SCAR™. They were the vessels through which God showcased his power and Almightiness.

You may be in a situation that seems like fire, like it's not going to end.

It may feel like God is far away.

It may even seem like He's unfair to allow some things happen to you.

You know that there's fire all around you and it looks like you cannot run away from it.

God is saying to you in plain English words

" when you walk through the fire, you will not be burned neither will the flame scorch you" - Isaiah 43:2

Why?

 Because He's Fire.

He is saying "I want to show the world a dimension of my power through you".

If the three Hebrew guys entered fire and came out unscarred, I can assure you through the Scripture that you will too; unscarred.

And the only reason you won't be burned that people won't even smell the flames on you is because He's with you.

Dear Believer, 'when' not 'if'.

God knew the Hebrew men would be thrown into the fire. He knew you'd be in that situation too.

He only wants to showcase his Almightiness; that's if you can see it.

There are some inevitable times that you may be in fire, but rest assured, you're not alone in the fire experience. He is with you.

As a thinker, I want to believe that the burning bush became one of the famous places in Horeb. The Bible didn't just state it.

People would have come from far places to see the bush that caught fire but didn't get burned.

I'm pretty sure that a press conference must have been organized for those Hebrew guys to say something about the fire and the fourth man.

This is a signal to you, after the fire experience, get ready for the world to celebrate you.

It is no lie that the faith of those Hebrew guys in God increased because of the fire experience.

Logically, it's unbelievable how you go through fire and you won't have scars.

Well, the Hebrew guys had no scars. They didn't smell fire, they didn't look like they were rescued from being burnt.

The Bible said the bush didn't burn. That means it didn't.

Yes, you may in the fire, in that not-so-good situation but allow me tell you this:

God wants to showcase His Almightiness through whatever situation you might be going through.

Yes!

In summary, dear believer, if at all you're going through something that looks like fire, you're not alone.

God is in the fire with you and you are coming out unburned and unscarred.

Cheers to your testimony!

Suggested Scripture: Exodus 3:2, Daniel 3:21-27, Isaiah 43:2
