Image

As a believer, should you have expectations of what things should look like? Find out in this blog post of Chicken Episode 4 - Expectations Good morning Chicken Episodes lovers, I have an important information to pass to you after today's writing. Please, go through it.   The chicken story I had in mind for today was already penned down only for the Holy spirit to suggest another. He gave me another story to write about and I was so confused, how does this relate to the Christian faith? What lessons do we pick from this as Christians? Well, I calmed down for the boss to explain what he wants to bring out from the story. After all, the goal is that He is vividly seen and that you are edified. That's one reason I'd encourage you to please, read this particular episode with rapt attention. You're not reading a story, but God's message to yo...

PRINCESS LWY EP 3

Image
Have you ever seen a princess? Have you ever noticed how they walk, eat and behave? I have seen one in my hen. How can you walk in this light as a believer? Find out in this blog post of Chicken Episode 3 - Princess. We once had this beautiful, light brown feathered female hen. It had beautiful feather color combinations.  I must be very honest with you, this hen was really beautiful. We gave her the name Princess.  She was named Princess because of two reasons.  1. She was a beautiful young chicken, well, her mother was. All hail Gregor Mendel for his great discovery on genetics.  2. She didn't just look like a princess: she acted, walked and ate like one.  She was a princess indeed. I remember that anytime Mr X fed the other chickens, this particular one won't eat with them.  She would wait till all the other chickens had gone away and fly into Mr X's arms eating from the plate in his hands.  Mr X would gladly anticipate her everyday. Ever sinc...

MY PRODIGAL MOTHER HEN - LWY EP 2

Image
Have you ever thought of running away from your immediate environment? Have you even attempted it before?  Well, my hen did. Will it come back home? Will you go back home? Find out in this blog post Chicken Episode 2 - My prodigal mother hen. Mr X once reared a mother hen, brown in color. It was one of the hens that gave birth to high number of chicks among others. However, it lacked the grace of parenting. It was an experienced careless mother.  You could trust it to give you many chicks but never to keep them.  She would hatch, then take them out and either lose them on the way or host the Eagle some chicks at a hot afternoon 'prey luncheon'. This mother hen [let's call it Z], Z got pregnant again and laid many eggs as usual. It hatched them and we're all glad. She hatched 7 eggs. WILL I SEE MY CHICKEN IN HEAVEN? - LWY EP 1

Image
Have you ever lost a pet you loved before? Have you ever thought of where animals go to when they die? Did it cross your mind to hope you'd get to reunite with your pet someday, especially in heaven with gold litters everywhere and your pet screaming your name and jumping up in excitement? Will you ever see your pet in Heaven? Find out in this blog post - CHICKEN EPISODE 1 - Will I see my chicken in Heaven?       On October 29 2021, Mr X (let's leave it that way) - [Mr X is into chicken rearing] called me that morning and informed me about one new chick that wasn't well.      When I saw it, I was emotional. I decided to carry and take care of it.       This was my first time carrying a chick. I had tried once several years ago but the helpless chick almost died because I was irritable.      I felt empathy towards this 4-day old chick who had sprawled legs and was unable to walk properly. It couldn't eat too. It was he...

LION'S SHOW OF LOVE VS BELIEVERS LOVE

Image
How does it feel to experience love by your family/tribe members in your lowest? Is there any other greater love? I remember we watched a documentary while we were young.  Suddenly, my Mum called our attention to a scene in the Lions documentary but we were too carried away and didn't pay attention.  These lionesses caught a big Buffalo🐃; less than 6 of them if I can truly remember.  They ate the side-up of the animal and they turned to leave - make less privileged come eat the remaining😂.  Then an old lioness came as soon as they finished eating. It didn't find anything to eat. So, she tried eating from beneath but she couldn't.  I guess she was too old to lift the heavy lifeless animal.  One of the young lioness saw her struggling and went to help her. She lifted the leg of the Buffalo so she could eat the fresh untouched part. We're all thrilled by the act but I was stunned and challenged as a little girl then.  What a show of love?  1...

Finding your true self

"I was never the outgoing type. I love being with me. I knew it and I didn't know it too. The pressure was in the air plus the inquisitiveness too. Adventure looked thrilling and some part in me wanted to have a taste of it.  I thought "I am on the journey to finding myself". I lost myself while trying to find 'me'. Thank God Mercy said no." Many people have lost themselves in an adventure mode they could have disabled. Some people live in other people's world and they know it.   If you don't find yourself and stay in your place, you are like a man that the wind can sweep off easily. I know the one who can help you find yourself. His name is Jesus.  Trust me, adventures won't help you find yourself, personal efforts won't help you find yourself, only Jesus can; only Jesus will.❤️ One benefit of finding yourself is that you will know your place and stay in it. If you haven't found yourself, I pray you find light. If you have lost yo...
