LION'S SHOW OF LOVE VS BELIEVERS LOVE

 How does it feel to experience love by your family/tribe members in your lowest? Is there any other greater love?


I remember we watched a documentary while we were young.


 Suddenly, my Mum called our attention to a scene in the Lions documentary but we were too carried away and didn't pay attention.


 These lionesses caught a big Buffalo🐃; less than 6 of them if I can truly remember.




 They ate the side-up of the animal and they turned to leave - make less privileged come eat the remaining😂.


 Then an old lioness came as soon as they finished eating. It didn't find anything to eat. So, she tried eating from beneath but she couldn't. 


I guess she was too old to lift the heavy lifeless animal. 





One of the young lioness saw her struggling and went to help her.


She lifted the leg of the Buffalo so she could eat the fresh untouched part.


We're all thrilled by the act but I was stunned and challenged as a little girl then.


 What a show of love? 


1 Corinthians 16:14 - Let all your things, be done in Love.


 Ephesians 4:32 - Instead, be kind and tender-hearted to one another,


How best will it be if Believers will show the true love - the God kind of love to one another?


How beautiful will it be if we could do things for one another selflessly in love?


How glorious will it be if we walk in Love and allow God's love dominate our hearts not the natural selfish, give me - I give you love?


If animals without a soul can extend kindness to themselves and their tribe, I guarantee that we that are created in our father's image have the ability to love just the way God loves us.


You will never see a lion help an antelope. It is never done. An antelope is a prey and a stranger to the family of Lions.


 Many believers love helping unbelievers over their fellow family of believers.


P.S. I didn't say you should not help unbelievers at all. After all, our show of love brings them to the fold.


All I am saying is "Prioritize your family and tribe."


Pull a believer up today. Extend some kindness to a believer today. Be the reason a member of your family (God's family) smiles today. Cheers.

TEMPTATION AND THE WORD

"It is easier said than done". This statement is true, but I believe it is incomplete.  As a believer, there are some things that apply to the whole world that you're exempted from. To do things may be easier said than done, but for you, the believer, there is grace, even much grace available to do them. You and I receive it in Jesus name. Whether you believe it or not, there is grace available for you to stand up to the devil, in boldness, and use the Word instead of crying or getting depressed.  Yes, I know it may seem easier to say "use the Word", when the devil is telling you a lie about that job you're seeking, that grade you are reading so hard for, that person who said he/she will help you, that child that's proving wayward or any situation you may be in, as opposed to using the Word when you really need to use it.  But as believers, it's time we understood that only the Word and truth in the Word can make us free.  Lord Jesus, thank you for your word I'm about to read today.  I receive boldness to share the wine you have given me.  May I not be static river in Jesus name.  Amen. Dear Believer, Last week, I asked a question about why you think the wedding host didn't buy wine when it had finished and they had to seek Jesus. A friend sent me a video about the history of the Galilean wedding and I found the answer in there. Once the wedding feast starts according to the Galilean culture, no one goes out until the ceremony is over. This is to lock out uninvited people and keep record of those who're in.  This explains why the welfare team had to panic when they ran out of wine.
