TO ALIGN - LWY EP 12

Is it possible to know what God wants for you and do it the way He wants it done?

Dear Believer,

By the time you finish reading this blog post, you'd have discovered how to align with God's plans for you at every stage of your life.

Cheers to your testimony! ❤️

To align is to fall in line. 

To align is to identify with or match the behavior, thoughts of another person. 

To align is to fit in a certain approved way of life. 

The second strikes me more, you?

In design, every element (e.g text, image) you see is aligned in a certain position and that's what makes the design beautiful. (Like the one above)

P.S: If you don't know much about design, don't worry. Just know that any beautiful design you see out there is well-aligned.

A design not well-aligned looks rowdy and unorganized; a life not aligned looks that way too.

I'm sure you don't like what you are seeing. That's a poorly aligned design.

 Now, close your eyes and imagine how a poorly aligned life and destiny looks like...

I can't even close my eyes. It's horrible to think about.

Every life has a plan it must align with, just like every design has a particular alignment arrangement.

God in Jeremiah 29:11 speaks to you:

"For I know the thoughts I think torward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end."

This verse sounds familiar? Obviously.

You could even complete the verse without reading the words? Surely. 

Let's see two other versions of Jer. 29:11. 

"I know what I am doing. I have it all planned out-- plans to take care of you not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." MSG 

"I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for." GNT 

Sometimes, series of events happen in your life and they are so sweet. It feels like everything is working so well and you don't want it to end. 

I have had those times too.

Well, sometimes too, it feels like the whole world is coming down and you feel heavy; sometimes empty. You are not too good about it. 

Me too.

Have you ever asked yourself why this is so? 

Well, the Holy Spirit is going to open up to you why in this particular episode.

God has a plan for you and it will never change. 

Plans to give you the future that you desire because when you're happy, He's happy. 

Any other plan will give you an undesired result; the more reason you need to align with His own plan(s).

"I know what I am doing. I have it all planned out..."

"I alone know the plan I have for you..."

Only God knows what He wants for you in every stage of your life. Only Him knows how it will be executed too.

Any other person who claims to know it is a liar and a cheat. 

The only other person entitled to know it is YOU. 

You can find it in the place of study and prayer. 

You must have heard this a lot of times right? 

Well, that's the only way to know His plans for you.

Go to Him in the place of prayer, be vulnerable to Him and express yourself. He knows your strength and will not discard your request.

Read the word through the help of the Holy Spirit, His plans for YOU will be revealed to YOU.

Dear Believer, only God's plan can work perfectly in your life. 

Read it again!

A Toyota brand car key will never start any Mercedes Benz brand car.

When you align to God's plan for your life, everything works beautifully well for you. 

Even when it doesn't look like it, you're rest assured that God's plan for you hasn't changed.

When you align, every other thing aligns. 

Read it again...

"When you align, every other thing aligns."

A life that aligns (with God's plans) is a life the world envies. See Daniel and his friends, Moses, Jesus e.t.c. 

Now that you know how important it is for you to align, you may want to ask how you can align with God's plans.

1. Obey God. Do what He says and you're already working in alignment with his plans for you. Remember, He knows the end from the beginning.

My Uncle and Pastor tweeted this:

On obeying the voice of God, don't obey only because you think He's saving you from something but obey because you've trained your heart to be obedient to His voice in all situations. 

So, even when He wants you to do something in a particular way, you do it because your devotion is first to the Lord, not only because you want to align with His plans for you.

2. Submit to the Holy Spirit. The Bible says it is God who puts in us the will to do His good pleasures, Phil. 2:13.

Only the Holy spirit can help you align with God's will perfectly. Submit to His help and trust Him to help you.

3. Learn from David. He was a man who aligned with God's plans for him.

He knew God always has a plan and He consulted God everytime to know His plan so he could work according to it.

You want to align with God's plans for you? Consult him. 

I earnestly pray for you who is yet to know that plan that God has for you, may you find it without stress in the place of prayer and study. 

For you who doesn't know how to align or struggles to align that you receive Grace to align with God's plans for you; you and I. 

May every event in your life be beautiful from now and God's plans for you come to pass wonderfully in your life. Amen.
